Last Thursday August 15th Amsterdam Fashion TV was at the launch of Royal Lounge Junky, lingerie’s, beachwear and lounge-wear. The launch was organized by MaisonPR.
Royal Lounge Junky takes inspiration from the chilled and laid back Californian lifestyle, which they want to bring to The Netherlands!
The brand was founded in January 2013 by Cor van Schoonhoven, also marketing director of the company, and Elisabeth Wolbers, who is in charge of design and product development. They both have experience in the lingerie industry, technical know-how and knowledge of the retail market.
– What’s makes the perfect bra? – I ask Elisabeth Wolbers after the presentation. The answer is simple: a bra should fit, support, be long-lasting and look great. Besides classic colors like black, white and nude, the brand plays with the latest color trends. Tops and bottoms can be purchased separately, allowing several combinations. With 20 sizes available the brand caters for all body types and sizes. For example the special Diva-line ranges from 70D to 90F.
Among the fabrics used across the line are lace from Italy and details in Swarovski stones. Every item is nickel free and the cups are made of transpiring padding. And don’t even get me started on their beachwear and loungewear…
Available from September at V&D, Livera, Wehkamp and lingerie stores. You’ll have to be patient for a couple of weeks but it’s worth it: the brand if also affordable, bras start from 30 euros!
