Amy Winehouse: she would have been 30 today

Amy Jade Winehouse was an English singer-songwriter known for her deep contralto vocals and her eclectic mix of musical genres including R&B, soul, jazz, ska and reggae. During her life she won five Grammy Awards and her “Back to Black” became the best-selling album of the 21st century in the UK.

She released the autobiographical song “Rehab” in 2007 and won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Contemporary Song with “Stronger Than Me”. She died of alcohol poisoning when she was 27, today she would have turned 30…
