She had been following the Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration’s research to research and explore the possibilities of stretchable circuitry. She started by adding heat and light sensitive pigments into her clothes that would interact with sun and heat. Later, Loh incorporated fiber optics into LED-enabled fabric to display full-color moving images on the clothing in her collection.
She collaborated with Luminex (Italy and Miami) to develop optical fiber garments. She broke new ground by integrating Philips Lumalive panels into dresses and skirts which featured video imagery on soft embedded LED screens.
