Dolce & Gabbana have announced that they will be decorating the Christmas tree in the lobby of the beautiful, historic Claridge’s hotel in the heart of Mayfair, London. Every year the famed London hotel partners with a leading designer on a spectacular tree. Previous designers of the tree include Lanvin’s Albert Elbaz; John Galliano; and Kally Ellis, founder of florist McQueens. “When we think of London, we always think of Claridge’s and of its typically English atmosphere that fascinates us and makes us fall in love with the city every time as if it were the first,” said Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. “Our Christmas tree isn’t only a celebration of Christmas as we celebrate it in Italy, but it’s at the same time a tribute to the artisanal Italian tradition, the same that we love to export worldwide with everything we do.”.
The giant tree will be unveiled mion 26 November.
