Amsterdam designer Pieke Bergmans developed a technique similar to glass blowing to create a plastic lighting installations. The Dutch designer has studied at the Academy of Arts, St. Joost Breda (graphic design). HKA-Art-School Arnhem (3D-Design). Design Academy Eindhoven (Industrial Design). Royal College of Art, London (MA, Design Products).
After her Postgraduate at the Royal College of Art, under Ron Arad, she opened her studio in Amsterdam and started working on a large variety of projects around the globe.
VAPOR refers to a liquid or solid state where the same substance at a high temperature turns into a gas phase. It’s beautiful, magical and seems almost from a different planet. Either angles or ghosts, I am not sure, but this time for sure they exist.
