When Make-up meets Chinese Art

Hong Yi, who goes by the nickname ‘Red’, is a Malaysian artist-architect, is known as the artist who ‘loves to paint, but not with a paintbrush’. The artist, after graduating from university in Australia, took up an offer to work for Australian architecture firm HASSELL in their Shanghai office, and was completely taken with the city.

Take a look at this series where she has used makeup to create landscapes, portraits and chinese art.
