ABOUT SPIJKERS EN SPIJKERS
The Dutch twin sisters Truus en Riet are the designers behind the label Spijkers en Spijkers. Both sisters studied Fashion design at the College of Art in Arnhem. In 2000 they finished their master at the Fashion Institute Arnhem.
Spijkers en Spijkers have since the label’s foundation in 2001 built an instantly recognizable and desirable style: one known for its graphic detailing, and distinct use of colour. In 2010 Spijkers en Spijkers created their SIS line to be a more accessible line to carry out their vision and draw an opportunity to enlarge their audience in the Netherlands and abroad.
