The very successful and glamorous event “24 hours of Elegance – Concours d’Elegance & Luxury Salon,” which is held annually, will be hosted in Belgrade for the fourth time, during a three-day extravaganza from September 5th to 7th.
This exclusive event, organized by DEGORSI Luxury Consultancy and FIVA Member – Serbian Federation of Historic Vehicles, under the patronage of Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Prince Peter, Prince Philip and Prince Alexander, and with great support of Grand Casino Belgrade and Tourist Organization of Belgrade, will be dedicated to a number of luxury brands that are globally recognized for their supreme quality, craftsmanship and detail, allowing guests to share their passions in classic cars culture, elegance, style and refinement.
This year’s “24 hours of Elegance” will commence at the Royal White Palace on Friday, September 5th, with truly international selection of most luxurious brands, under the patronage of our Prince’s Petar, Aleksandar and Filip. The French style will be highlighted with the exhibition of a historic clothing archive of Maison CIFONELLI from Paris, along with sublime Corthay shoes British style will be presented by CHIVAS finest selection and premiere of stunning Jaguar F-type, while Swiss craftsmanship will be underlined by TAG Heuer latest Haute Horlogerie pieces. As well, mesmerizingly beautiful destination of excellence DUKLEY, will show that Montenegro is serious player in high end tourism. Italian elegance will be highlighted by a great craftsman of luxury shoes, Rene Caovilla, who will present historic models of shoes, coming to Belgrade right after showcase at the renowned Peggy Guggenheim museum in Venice. Furthermore, guests will have the opportunity to view a unique selection of classic cars by world-famous coachbuilder from Milan – Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, that will be luminously displayed in front of the Royal Palace.
The evening portion of our event will include a charity auction where patrons will be tempted by the famous jewellery designer STEFAN HAFNER, and sublime perfume collection My7Ways by Astrid Beerkens. All proceeds will benefit “The Princess Katherine Foundation”.
In the course of the evening, style master Hugo Jacomet will present his style portal, “The Parisian Gentleman”.
Saturday, September 6th is marked by “UNIQA Belgrade Classic Car Show 2014” segment, where we will present star cars from international collections along with the finest examples of local gentleman drivers classic cars.
This year we will mark the 75th anniversary of Belgrade Grand Prix, held in 1939, with a unique “Grand Tour Historique,”a classic cars parade around Kalemegdan fortress, following the same 2.7 km route of the last Grand Prix formula racetrack. This amazing event will be accomplished in cooperation with Serbian Federation of Historic Vehicles, Belgrade Car Museum, Scuderia Zagreb organization,Tazio Nuvolari Museumfrom Mantova and with a support of Tourist Organisation of Belgrade(TOB)-an important partner of this year’s event.
As of noon “Concours d’Elegance 2014” will take the centre stage with a classic cars exhibition which will be available to the general public in front of the Grand Casino Beograd (a major partner of the 24 hours of Elegance, since inception). This display will feature handpicked models of classic cars that will be evaluated by a professional jury, selecting the “Best of Show 2014” in the afternoon.
Classic cars will be spruced by the latest super-cars models, in cooperation with SAT media group, at the NAVAK Super Car pavilion.
The second part of the day will be devoted to our “SALON OF EXCELLENCE” in partnership with The Economist magazine, which will be held at the conference part of Grand Casino Beograd. This excellence conference and style exhibition will include eminent panellists, presenting top luxury brands from around the world: maisons from France – CIFONELLI, masters of bespoke tailoring from Paris; CORTHAY, masters of unique handmade shoes; SCABAL, prestigious cloth makers from Bruxelles; MARTELL,one of the oldest cognacs in the world, would be paired with chocolate just for the occasion; TAG Heuer haute-horlogerie exquisite wrist-watches and Stefan Hafner, renowned couture jewellery designer. Special guest at the Salon of Excellence will be famed shoe designer Rene Caovilla, master of ladies’ extravagant shoes. New segment at the Salon, will be Destinations of Excellence, presented by Colin Kingsmill, of DUKLEY LIFESTYLE, a New Mediterranean hotspot on the coast of Montenegro. The author Hugo Jacomet, who is also founder of the famous online portal Parisian Gentleman, will present his latest book. Following the conference, visitors will be able to enjoy the luxury products showcase, sipping ABSOLUT Vodka cocktails.
Afternoon entertainment will be additionally enhanced by Stars & Cars live photo session presented by HELLO magazine.
The “Best of Show 2014” award ceremony will be held in front of the Grand Casino Belgrade in the late afternoon with the support of numerous fans and enthusiasts, thus wrapping up Belgrade Concours d’Elegance 2014.
Proceeding into the evening, the invitees to the Mumm champagne reception at the terrace of Grand Casino will enjoy a premiere of artistic documentary “La beaute du Geste”, by director Hugo Jacomet in true French spirit.
The most glamorous part of the evening will be men’s elegance catwalk-show by Cifonelli, a true Parisian sartorial stars, that will be held In front of the Grand Casino fountains.
Once again, slick and exclusive space of Grand Casino will glitter with beautiful models.
Finally, the “24 hours of Elegance CHIVAS party,” held at the Diva Lounge will stage a wonderful ending to this unique event, combining different spheres of luxury and elegance into an unforgettable evening.
