The collaboration between Altuzarra and an American discount-retailer Target had been announced earlier this year, and it caused as much excitement as chainstore’s previous hit collections designed by Phillip Lim, Prabal Gurung, Zac Posen and Rodarte, if not more so. There is just something about something so utterly unreachable as high-end fashion coming to a discount store that sells literally everything from instant soups to bed throws.
This week, the lookbook of the highly anticipated collection was finally revealed, and fashionistas got their chance to sign up on Net-A-Porter in order to skip the queues and get their designer steals before they sold out (which normally happens very quick)
The collection features all the must-have wardrobe staples for a perfect elegant look, including clothing, shoes and accessories, and the prices range from $17.99 to $89.99.
The luxury label strives to deliver French sophistication with American ease, hoping that their Target collection will “instil a feeling of power, confidence and beauty in women everywhere.”
