Haute couture in Haiti made an institutional debut on Saturday with the opening of 1st Haiti Fashion Week showcases native designers.
The sartorial extravaganza will host various runway shows produced by Haitian-born clothiers like Berny Martin for Catou, Hassan Pierre, Phelicia Dell for VèVè, David André and Clark Pauyo.
