When the singer Janis Joplin sang “All my friends drive Porsches” she certainly had reason for it, and Joplin’s fans can now celebrate.
Some lucky will take home the Porsche that was of the singer. The model 1965 465c 1600 cabriolet was pearl-white and was secondhand when it was bought by Joplin, to make the car more interesting the friend of the singer, Dave Richards made a psychedelic paint letting the car unmistakable and with DNA of the diva the 70’s.
Janis Joplin used the car until her death in 1970, and since then it has passed through the hands of her manager, Albert Grossman until it reach on the family of the singer. In the last 20 years, the Porsche was in “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum” in Cleveland.
Now the powerful car is ready to win a new owner, on 10 December this year the car will be auctioned, and is expected to be raised $ 400,000 at auction.
