Frédérique van Heesch

Designer Frédérique van Heesch grew up with a love for fashion, as the daughter of a shoe designer and importer of haberdashery. After a career in the top segment of Italian fashion – namely at Balenciaga in Florence – she settled in the Netherlands again. What followed was an affordable and handmade collection of supple Italian leather bags of high quality. The designs are available in black every season, and the designer also chooses four trend colors per collection. For Fall / Winter 2018-19, Frédérique focuses on warm and natural shades, or with a metallic finish.

Bags may stand out again in 2018, that is why the collection focuses on surprising details that make each bag unique. Like a zipper on the side building, with behind it a different color leather or to deconstruction clutches. The leopard prints in pony hair are also timeless and at the same time form a real eyecatcher.
The hand-made collection of bags consists of chic yet simple designs with a twist. The leather goods are produced in Italy and Portugal, in carefully selected workshops.
