As much as we love to look at the new clothing styles to check out for the new season, taking notes of the makeup trends is also highly important.
This time IFN Amsterdam Fashion TV is presenting a beauty editorial ‘MAKE UP TRENDS 21/22’ and guides you through four bold make up looks that you should try.

In the year of 2022 makeup trends are predicted to be effortless, chic and sophisticated. Do not be afraid to spend the season wearing colors and shapes you might normally avoid and get creative. Tap into daring eye looks that say ‘confidence’ and allow your eyes to really pop.

No-makeup makeup look, which has been very popular in the last year with natural and healthy appearance, seems to increase its popularity this coming year also. This look generally aims to emphasize the natural glow of dewy skin with neutral-colored lips and brushed up brows.
The key to achieving a flawless no-makeup look is a strong skincare routine as it is the most important step for any makeup look. Skin has to still look like skin, soft and radiant – that is what natural make up is all about.

This season, Dior Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2021 runway show featured reverse cat eye look that attracted everyone’s attention. This reverse cat eye is a fun, elegant and a bit edgy twist to the original cat eye.
It has all the fierceness of regular winged liner, it is just inverted to focus the attention on your lower lash line. The result is a smoky, sultry undereye that wings out at the corner to create a sexy feline shape.

It is inspired by Versace’s fall 2021 runway beauty look. Sweep an intense color across your eyelids from lashes to brow for a strong statement look.
Do not settle for black only, use pink, blue or white to make your eye look bolder, experiment with the colors to find your best match. Pair with minimal face makeup to create edgy glamour.

Rather, fun, geometric and daring eyeliner is becoming the standard as the look was seen at Dior and Chanel runway shows in Paris. Graphic eyeliner, which has been trendy last year, is becoming a trend again.
Graphic eyeliner creates a more editorial look which is bold and dramatic. It gives you the chance to be creative with your styles. It’s different from a cut crease in the way that it is graphic and simple, rather than heavily blended and layered.
